Important
Because our cat collars are handmade they are not always adjustable. That's why it is important to know how to measure your cat's neck. Because they are made to measure it's important to know the right circumference.
How do I measure?
It's important that the collar doesn't fit to snug. The cat still has to be able to breathe comfortably. That's why you have to measure the neck with your tape measure while still being able to put two to three fingers between your cat's neck and the collar.
This means
Take your tape measure and put it around your cat's neck. Please make sure you are still able to put two to three fingers between the neck and the tape measure.
Make it easy and just measure a collar you already own and you know fits perfectly.
Don't have a tape measure? No problem. Just take a piece of rope or string and put it around your cat's neck. Again make sure you can still put two to three fingers between the rope and the neck. Now measure the rope/string with a ruler. Ready!
